Technical Specifications

1. Working Length:

Endoscope products for different purposes, the working length is not the same, under general circumstances:

① Working length of laryngoscope ≥180mm;

② The working length of sinus scope is ≥175mm;

Outer diameter of tube:

Endoscope products for different purposes (adults and children) have different outer diameter sizes. In general:

① Laryngoscope outer diameter size φ 5mm, φ 8mm, φ 10mm;

② The outer diameter of the sinus scope is φ 3mm, φ 4mm;

3, optical properties:

① Field of view: The field of view of sinusoscope, cystoscope, hysteroscope, proctoscope and amniotic lens should not be less than 60°, otherwise the observation range will be affected.

② Visual Angle: visual Angle is generally divided into forward (00°, 12°), squint (30°, 45°), side (70°, 90°).

③ Resolution: resolution is an important optical index of endoscope, ordinary endoscope should be greater than 9.92Lp/mm(L=10mm).

4. Illuminance: mainly refers to the uniformity of illuminance. If illuminance cannot fill the field of view, it will be blurred around and affect the field of vision.

5, mechanical properties:

(1) sealing: the sealing of the endoscope is related to the imaging quality, such as poor sealing is easy to seepage, damage the optical system, affect the observation. The joint of the water valve mirror sheath and the cystoscope cone should be close, and the water seepage should not exceed 5 drops within 1min, otherwise the operation may be affected by water leakage if the cooperation is not good.

Imaging by electron endoscope

The imaging principle of electronic endoscope is to use the light emitted by the light source equipped with TV information center, and the light is introduced into the body cavity by the light guiding fiber in the endoscope. The CCD image sensor receives the light reflected from the mucosal surface in the body cavity, converts the light into an electrical signal, and then transmits the signal to the TV information center through the wire. These signals are stored and processed by the TV information center, and finally transmitted to the TV monitor to display the color mucosal image of the tested cavity on the screen. At present, there are two kinds of CCD image sensors in use in the world, and their specific ways of forming color images are slightly different.

Image quality of electronic endoscope

The quality of the image directly affects the use effect of endoscope, and also marks the development level of endoscope technology. Instead of transmitting an image through an optical lens or optical fiber, an electronic endoscope converts light energy into electricity using a CCD, an optoelectronic coupling device called a miniature camera, mounted at the tip of the endoscope, which is then "reconstructed" by an image processor into a high-resolution, colour-realistic image.

Image quality is the essence and the most important performance index of electronic endoscope, and is also the technical basis of image synthesis and reprocessing by electronic technology. Image quality can be divided into clarity, color reduction and so on.

Photoelectric coupling element - CCD is the core component of electronic endoscope image quality, it is like the heart of the electronic endoscope and its basic structure is on the sensitive semiconductor wafers with high precision of lithography split out hundreds of thousands of grid, each grid represents an imaging element, the more pixels, the higher the resolution of the image, the more clear picture. CCD can only sense the intensity of light signal, and the color restoration of electronic endoscope is obtained by adding color filter to CCD camera light path and processing color video signal.

After the cold light source of the electronic endoscope illuminates the examined or surgical site, the objective lens will image the measured object on the photosensitive surface of THE CCD. The CCD will convert the optical signal into electrical signal, which is transmitted to the video processor by cable, and then displayed on the monitor after processing and restoration.

CCD photosensitive surface is composed of regular arrangement of diodes, each diode is called a picture elemont, the number of pixels determines the quality of the image. The current production process can generally reach 300,000 ~ 410,000 pixels. The target surface and effective size of the electronic endoscope are Fi(outer diameter)= about 2mm, and the first stage amplifier circuit of the CCD output signal should also be contained in a 2mm cylindrical volume. The image quality of electronic endoscope mainly depends on THE performance of CCD, followed by the technical indicators of driving circuit and post-processing system, including resolution, sensitivity, signal disturbance, spectral response, dark current, dynamic range and image lag.

Like fiber endoscope, electronic endoscope is divided into electronic gastroscope, electronic duodenoscope and electronic colonoscope. In recent years, the development of electronic endoscope is very rapid, but because the price of electronic endoscope is expensive, the production technology is not as mature as fiber endoscope, in a certain period of time, it is difficult to popularize and replace the clinical application of fiber endoscope.

Electronic endoscope, like fiber endoscope and fiber optic endoscope, is mainly used in nondestructive testing and pore-probing technology application. Therefore, it is mainly divided into industrial electronic endoscope and medical electronic endoscope. There is basically no big difference in the mechanical structure and working principle of endoscope.
